Off center nickel

    Found this nickel in pocket change...Is this off-center looking thing worth any thing?

    Yes it looks like an off center and no it probably isnt worth more then the $0.05 face becasue as happycobra pointed out it is pretty common.

    It's actually a very minor horizontal misalignment of the obverse (hammer) die. It is not an off-center strike. It's worth no more than face value.
