Just found this and thought i'd let you know. I cant BELIEVE something like this could make its way into circulation and stay for so many years.
I always wondered, how major offcenter errors make it to circulation... This would never fit in a bank wrapped roll! Anybody have insight on how dramatic errors like this make it to circulation? BTW... NICE FIND!!!
Sweet! I have never found a Lincoln that far off centered, and I have looked through an awful lot of Lincolns.
Of course not. It was in some change from Wal Mart I believe. suckers. 8 bucks huh? now if i could just make the same profit on EVERY penny...
I still like that coin. I've got 5 1990 cents just as off as that one. These were supposed to be from the same coin bag. I love them, all dates showing.
you can't melt silver coins, but people still buy them for $10 each. same for copper cents in the future. nice off center!
