Odd spot on wheat cent !

    Searching bank rolled cents and came across this 1945 wheat. Had the brown color except for this one spot which is the original bright finish. Must have had something covering it all these years and just recently came off!! Thought it kind of neat.

    A drop of some sort of acid probably caused that. A drop of lemon juice may cause the same effect.
