Odd penny find

    I found a badly damaged penny that caught my attention. It is non magnetic, silver colored and copper clad.
    This has been badly damaged as I said, it looks like it's been in the road for quite a while, but you can still make out the lincoln head and a basic shape of a Lincoln Memorial on the back side.
    You can see where the raised edge was at one time and it's been completely flattened as well as all writing, engraving.

    Welcome to Coin Talk.
    It is/was a post 1982 Lincoln Memorial Cent. It's silvery because the copper plating has worn off of the zinc core.
