Odd dime in a 2014 proof set

    Someone posted this to the coins subreddit. Were it not in a proof set, it would pretty obviously be PMD, but does this mean that it was damage that happened at the mint? Or might this be some kind of error itself? If it's just damage before being sealed, does it carry any premium?

    I have a Mint set that is missing the dime completely..
    it is in one of the blister packs from a ways back..it was sent to me directly through the Mint Ordering system..there is no evidence of tampering, nor an opening.
    I almost returned it as I felt cheated somewhat..but nahh I kept it as is.
