Hey y'all thanks for taking time off to read this post as you look at this 20-22 nickel you see that the color is not sober like it should be but a golden orangish color front and back could this maybe be an off metal error or an experimental planchette? Also last picture is this nickel up next to a reg 2022nickel 1712966400670554395696380374654.jpg 17129670318738776788348232086312.jpg 17129670797483228041552867782453.jpg Screenshot_20240412-200644.png 2024-04-12-20-07-42-841.jpg 2024-04-12-20-06-20-560.jpg 2024-04-12-20-03-22-345.jpg Screenshot_20240412-200250.png

If the conditions are correct it can and will turn that color. I have lots of them. I even have rolls that when I cracked them open only the ends were that color.

It's just as shiny as the silver colored nickels and the color is like more of an red orange color,so beautiful

Quite a few people collect "toners", natural or artificial. It's your collection after all, a keeper if you like it. :)

Leave a nickel on your dashboard for the summer in the Texas sun and it’s a pretty good bet that it will look like yours come fall.
