Odd co-inky-dink

    Nothing earth-shattering, but I got both of these from circulation 3 days ago. Note that the '82D is a RED and very well preserved and is maybe AU58+ (if you stretch it a little) and the '55 is in good shape too with some minor corrosion but probably closer to XF45.

    The odd part is they were both from one transaction. I was using a WalMart self-serve kiosk and paid cash for a small item and got them both back from the machine. Also odd: they both weigh exactly 3.11 grams.

    Of course, the '82D is a Large Date, but I haven't checked for varieties yet.

    Also, this photo posed a real challenge for me. I ended up using 3 light sources to take them side by side, the disparity in reflectivity being the main problem. But once I split the second source to more strongly illuminate the '55, I then filled in both coins with a low-power pen-light to chase glare and shadow. Came out pretty good, I thought. Here are the backs of both:
