NZ Millennium $10 Notes inc RADAR

Just purchased on-line 5 of these for a little over face.

What I spotted by magnifying the photo was a RADAR 39493 and a last prefix C100.
They are not UNC but should have good value. Will be interesting to get a closer look once I have them in my hand

Serial number CG00039493 is not a Radar.

 

Is there a name for it?

 

Those are nice looking notes. Sure beats ours in the states.

 

They are still legal tender but you never/rarely find them in circulation. (i haven't found one for about 10years). It was a special issue for year 2000 Millennium and only 1.51 mill issued. C100 prefixes are catalogued at $60 in EF. Other prefixes are catalogued at $25 EF.

39493 - Although not a perfect radar, I think this one would have appeal and be more valuable. If condition is OK I will probably keep it for my collection.

You need the 000’s to be a radar but I really like the design and color.
