I picked up 3 silver certificates and a red seal legal tender $2 for $10 at NYINC this weekend. Figured I would share. I have wanted a red seal $2 for a while now, and all of the ones that this paper dealer had for sale were pretty beat up and he wanted $5 for each. I picked the nicest of the 3, it only had 1 torn of corner (which I heard had something to do with prostitutes). Also picked up 1935, 1957, and 1957 B silver cert. Found some MPC as well and got an uncirculated series 661 10c for $10. What do you think?
The 57 and 57B...I like the serial on the 57B. I picked the nicest two in the envelope, at least I think I did, they were both at the back and seemed to be in the best shape!
