I have read with enthusiasm many great posts here on CoinTalk. I can see some of you really learning about coins. I hope that some of you will make the transition between collector and numismatist. A few of you have been inquiring about books and other study material. This is the first step. Once you have made the leap to learning about the coins, it will open so many other avenues for you. Some may move onto varieties, or specialty markets, or some may even begin the true study of coinage. It is this type of knowledge that will really set you apart from the average collector. My kudos to all of you.
i was going to post a thread concerning this. now there is no need. i just want to thank you nd most of all, and all of the moderators for the time they spend here. thank you everyone who participates in this forum. queenkoin too for those stunning pictures. i have learned alot about coins in my short time in this forum. by posting threads, reading the feedback in other threads and asking advice from you guys. i love coins in general. my collection is small compared to some. i havent been collecting seriously until july of last year and i wish i was apart of this forum back then. i would have saved alot of money and been i little wiser in some of those purchases. the thing that sticks out to me most is that you have to have knowledge about coins, knowledge is in books and those that are willing to share the knowledge that they have gained from their experience. which i find in this forum. now i will see where i go with this hobby. thanx to all.
