Morocco was a French protectorate from 1912 to 1956. I have examples of most of the coins issued during this period, except for some of the silver ones. Coins were produced in three different groups: One in 1921 and 24, one in 1945, and the last in the early 1950s. Take a look at mine below and feel free to share yours. The French Influence in Morocco actually started quite a bit earlier. You can see the influence in earlier coin designs, and many of the Moroccan coins were minted in Paris. Berlin and London also minted many coins, as the Great Powers fought over control of the region. My set of Moroccan Coinage is something I'm very proud of.
