Today's final Jeopardy catagory was State Quarters Please place your wager. The answer was: Of the states depicting a sail powered sea vessel, this state had the oldest. No fair looking.....see if you can get it right Who will be the first to answer correctly (I thought it was pretty cool to have a numismatic question for final jeopardy)
That is cool!!! Never would have thought, we'd see a numismatic related answer! HAH! To all the spouses out there who don't approve of numismatics, and think it is a waste of time.. Just wait till' your significant other is on Jeopardy!!! LOL
Mikenoodle:::::::::::::WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was cool to have that question on Jeopardy. Only one of the 3 got it correct. Bob
That's an unclear question. Is it referring to which state is older, or which ship, or which quarter? Alex Tribec, I expect better from you!
It was worded better by Alex, I was trying to remember it and jumbled it a little. When asked, it was clear that he was asking which state quarter had the oldest sailing ship on it. bob
Another thing, Mike did not win because he forgot to word his answer in the form of a question. What is Florida? :hammer: That would have been the correct answer, however, I was thinking the great Corn Ship of Iowa might be the correct answer. Ribbit
What gets me is, not only was this answer being the "Final Jeopardy" but it was correct. Most Numismatic-related Jeopardy or Double Jeopardy answers are incorrect (a lot of them). Clinker
