I'm a bit of a book person, so anytime I find a book on coins or the Mint or gold, I buy it. Have over 60 books, some many years out of print and on the verge of rare. magazines...I like Coins and Coin World. They make for entertaining reading at work.

I have about a dozen coin books.

    3 subscriptions
    CoinWorld
    Numismatic News
    Coin Values

I'm going to drop Numismatic News because it largely duplicates the content of CoinWorld. (Please, down't throw any vegetables, if I've dissed someone's favorite publication).

I have been meaning to organize my numismatic books but I have not quite gotten to that point yet. I have scores of books, probably somewhere between 100 and 200. Most are packed away in boxes. Many of these I bought at ANA book sales and have never gotten around to reading. (I'm a sucker for cheap books, especially a box of books for $5.)

    I subscribe to:

    Coin World
    Numismatist
    Coin Dealer Newsletter
The Commemorative Trail (Society for US Commemorative Coins)
Bo Tales (Original Hobo Nickel Society)

Listing of over 60,000 maverick token identifications - 1 CD
    Grading - 3 books
    Redbook - 1 book

    Not numismatic books, but
Historical type books related to specific tokens - 21 books
(In the book Bridges At The Foot Of The Rapids, by Gary L. Franks, PE, I hooked Gary up with the image of the Maumee and Perrysburg Toll Bridge Company Civil War token that he placed on page 40.)
Historical reference books, Civil War era - 7 books

My library is far from complete, but some needed titles are very hard to locate. A couple of my books had numbered printings of 100 or less. Many others have been out of print for many years, with no recent works published. My oldest exonumia reference was printed in 1861.
I give away any older editions of references as I acquire newer ones.

I have a complete collection of the Red Book. I do not get any magazines, newsletters, etc on coins, guns, knives or anything that would indicate what is in my house. Where I live anything sticking out of a mail box with such titles is asking for a home invasion or just plain old robbery. And then too the mail delivery people change faster than at Walmart of McDonalds so my mail person today may well be in jail tomorrow. Any coin, gun, computer, etc magazines I purchase at shows or not at all. If those companies would put thier magazines, books, etc in a plain rapper I would probably have a mountain of them also.
