Not many I can think of off the top of my head.

1982-40th anniversary of the small cent varieties.

1982 Commemorative coins make a comeback

1997 Eunice Kennedy Shriver on Special Olympics coin first living woman to be featured on one.

1892 Barber coins make their debut.

    Am I missing any?

1962 bags-O-bags of 1903-O Morgans were found in treasury vaults. The 1903-O was thought to be one the rarest Morgans extent thanks to melting from the Pittman Act. Their values crashed from $1500 in BU to $13. It was a good time to study Darwin.
