Who has heard of the new mlm business, the Numis Network? I have friends in the business trying to get me in. They sell ms70 silver eagles for $99 and other monthly ms70 coins from other countries for $99 every month. Is this a good idea, bad idea, or maybe possibly an ok idea? What are chances of an ms70 silver eagle going up or down in value over the next 5-20 years as millions are made? I hope to hear a wide array of thoughts on this so i can make a wise decision.

It's an MLM so my opinion of it is poor. Unless you are on top on the pyramid, you probably won't do well. Personally I would run away from this opportunity.

You already have made your decision as I believe you are most likely a NN sales rep and if not, you sure sound like one.

Dutch is right, this is what tipped your involvement off...Not even a good try, by you. Take it somewhere else.

Mods please remove this very weak self promotion.

churn dog was right, there is a bit of a pyramid involved, if you think the pyramid can grow further you might make out a bit, not as much as others that came before you.

As for the chances of upward movement on the ms-70, I am too much of a novice to say with any certainty, from what I have heard there is a sizable population of em, I think you sort of answered your own question with the knowledge of millions of these coins will be made, plus they are for the most part well made, I would be surprised if any of the lower mint state populations (60-65) outnumber the higher population numbers.

But then again, the economy could take off, people could start to get more discretionary income, inflation could make todays 100 dollar investments worth 200 tommorow, but I am not really expecting that to happen.

Personally I would stay away. I've done a few MLM business and I like MLM, however, no MLM in precious metals have ever lasted, not a single one. Secondly, my last MLM called YTB was doing pretty well at first, but with the economy hurting it becomes hard to find people willing to join a business with a $500 start up cost with a $50 a month obligation. That is how Numis Network is. It is $500 to start up, $99 a month for the coin and $9 for the website. Only the heavy hitters are joining it. Also, you have to take into consideration that the number of buyers you will have when you sell your silver down the road. The number of people that buy collectors coins vs bullion is miniscule.
