So, I got into the ASE lately and now I cant stop looking at silver prices and I keep wanting to buy more and more and more. I only have a 1998 Proof ASE, and a Uncirculated 2011 ASE, but I want MORE! My new goal is to get an uncirculated coin for every year since 2000. After I achieve that goal I'll work on getting several coins from each year and soon my safe will be full! :yes::yes::yes:
Don't let your addiction control you. Collect the previous years but the easiest way going forward is to just get the subscription from the U.S. Mint, then every year you don't miss out.
A good place to find these is at a local coin shop or coin show. You can look at the individual eagles and there's no shipping. I had a dealer in town for many years who set aside a few eagles and Canadian Maples for me each year. I remember wincing the first year he asked more than 10 dollars apiece. the good old days.
