I was just wondering if the roll searchers out there were noticing a difference in the type of coins they are finding. With the economy the way it is, I think many people are emptying that mason jar so they can afford a few more gallons of gas. This is just my opinion based on a little roll searching I have done. Not only have wheat cents been showing up at a greater frequency but I also found my first Mercury dime in circulation. Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same findings or if I just hit the bank at the right time?
I haven't been finding any more wheats than normal, But I have been finding a lot of AU/MS Lincolns from the 60's and 70's . Coincidence, hard to say.
notice................ i noticed a lot of rolls filled with washers with a coin on the ends!................................just funnin' you all. i'd better hush-up, don't want to give anyone ideas!
Finding alot of Wheats. Just last week, I found 20 Wheaties in one roll. Dates were 1909 (No VDB), 1910, 1912, 1916, 1918, 1918-s, 1920, and an assortment of common junk from 1930's - 1950's....
