I wondered if someone could help me out on some values on some notes ?
I put it in this forum, as it would garner more proper attention.

I'm going to an auction and don't have any price guides for paper currency.
Could someone give me some prices on the following? :

(OR, point me in the direction of somewhere I could find the prices.)

1935-A $1 Silver Certificate Star Note (Extra Fine)

1957-A (2) Consecutive $1 Silver Certificate Star Notes (Unc)

    1935-D (4) Consecutive $1 Silver Certificates (Unc)

    1929 $10 National Currency Star Note (Fine+)

1874 Fractional Currency FR#1309 (No Grade)

    1917 $1 US Note FR#37 (Extra Fine)

    1934-C $50 Federal Reserve Note FR#2105B (Fine)

Thank you all very much, in advance.
    :)

    Thanks Rickie !
I don't have much in the way of bills in my collection.
I've got a dozen star notes from circulation or so, but nothing special.
Most of these in the auction will go reasonable, as most attending are coin specific collectors.
I'm still kicking myself from the last auction, where I let a 1935-A $1 Silver Certificate Star Note get away from me for a mere $18.
I was about out of spending money for the day and there were a couple other lots coming up that took priority.
    :(

    Yo Roto,

Lots of variables such as serial number, wide vs. narrow margins and mule notes. Here's a few reputable currency dealers that you can compare to and maybe get a better idea.

Always good to know what you have as unscrupulous currency collectors (like myself) will cherry pick an unsuspecting coin person in a heartbeat. I've done it on a few occasions.

That said here's a few dealers' sites.

    Hope that helps Mr. Pither,

By the way, when are you going on that cycling tour of North Cornwall?

Forgot to mention the bank on the 1929 can make a HUGE difference!

    Thanks, Mr Hilter!

I'm going to compete in the Upper-Class Twit of the Year competition and the International Hide and Seek Championships, before anything else.
    :D

International Hide and Seek? Stay away from Sardinia. Type to you in about 11 years.
