I am new here so hi 2 all those who dont know me! I spend most of my time on the bullion site (that is where my love is) but wanted to ask is anyone here afraid that with our PREZ printing $$ 24/7 that it will not be worth 1 cent in 20yrs? sooner or later we have to pay it back? Also ALL great empires who have gone off the the gold/silver standard of fallen because of the debt that has followed! Just a thought...be well

International debt isn't settled with printed money, first of all. Second, the BEP is printing 24/7 regardless of economic conditions simply to keep up with paper's inability to last more than a few weeks in commerce. And third, the printing of money lies not within the President's hands. That responsibility lies with the Treasury Department.

Discussing the printing of money is now political? Guess we might as well close down the Paper Money section of the forum.
