Not sure if this is an error or not?

I bought this 1926D penny and noticed the reverse is rotated about 10 degrees to the left. How far can a penny die be rotated and still be within spec's?

I seem to think that anything less than 45 degrees is acceptable.

It is within tolerance. Nothing major.

Might be less than that. I will check.

Actual US Mint tolerance is 27 degrees.

They are not collectable unless there is
    a 45 degree rotation, minimum.

That means when you flip over any US
coin, the top of the reverse has to be pointing at either 1:30 or later,
or if it's counterclockwise, the top has to be pointed at 10:30 or earlier.

The 26-D cent is fairly common with this minor rotation as in the OP's photo.

    Doesn't carry any premium, however.....
