I usually collect my change and check all of it before I turn it in to the bank for cash, and in this particular instance, I found a 2002 Indiana Quarter. The quarter has a large bulge on the face side, right on Washington's chin. I thought maybe the coin had been punctured on the opposite side, creating the bulge. But, when I flipped it over, it had the same bulge but slightly larger and a bit higher. If anyone has any info on this, please reply. Thanks!

It's pregnant! Give it a couple of years and a baby quarter will be born provided the quarter hasn't been hanging around common cents.

    LOL!

Nah! Heat is the most likely culprit but I would expect burn marks of some type.

I think that may have been during the period when some of the cars in the Indy 500 were experimenting with Hoosier tires which turned out to be a big "bust".

I used to LOVE my Hoosier Tires but after two I could no longer get them anymore. You see, I have no need for them since they cost an arm and a leg the first year and an arm and a leg the second year.

Now I just lie around all day.
