Hello all, Meow is having a dry spell CRH. Nothing interesting has been found for quite a few weeks. So Meow was doing the daily CRH, and only could come up with a simple strike through debris penny. Hope others have better CRH results than Meow. Paws crossed for a 90%er soon.
Well Meow does at least 10 quarter, and 10 penny rolls a week. And some weeks up to 30 quarter and 30 penny rolls. Meow finds Nickels and dimes to be boring for some reason. Quarters are fun for obvious reasons(State/ATB). And pennies are cheap. And Meow cant get half dollars in Meow's area, but Meow has always wanted to try some rolls of those. Meow also keeps all BU quarters with minimal contact marks, and AU or better examples of the older clad quarters. No sliver since February or so too. Meow just wishes Meow's luck would change for the better soon. So how many rolls do you do a week?
I searched two boxes (100 rolls) of half dollars a week for years until the price of silver neared $50/oz. When it dropped to $45/oz. or so, I sold all of my junk silver for a tidy little profit. After that, silver became harder and harder to find, the price dropped lower and lower and I haven't searched any since then. Chris
Maybe change up your banks? I took a ride a couple of towns over to a super hometown bank and ended up getting some near customer rolled nickels.
Don’t worry Meow, even a blind cat catches a mouse once in a while. And don’t give up on nickels. I was visiting Pittsburgh last fall so I stopped into a local Key Bank and bought 18 rolls of nickels. This 1939 D fits nicely in my #2 book
