Norwegian coin "expert" needed for id

    I know this is going to be almost impossible but does anyone know what era and/or denomination this is. I found it in the shed at father in laws house and it looks like it has been in about 20 train wrecks. I can make out SKILLING and NORGE on one side and E.M on the other

    How about a modified Danish 24 skilling, circa 1746-63?
