Norway 10 Ore 1969

Does anyone know if there were "proofs" minted of this coin? I was just surfing the bay and found this. I can't seem to find any proofs of this coin in Krause. Of course I am prolly wrong. It almost looks plated to me.

It looks polished to me.

It's hard to be sure from a picture.

 

i agree it definitely looks polished.................don't touch it with a barge pole.

mine looks identical to yours eugene, i have never heard of them being minted as proof issues.

 

I'm with cladking on this one Mark. It looks polished, but I don't have any "proof" to back up my opinion.

you all confirmed my thoughts on this one. I was very suspisious because of how shinny it was. It just didn't look like a proof strike to me. No worries I had no intention of buying it. The coin just caught my eye beacuse it said "proof". I didn't think they had minted proofs and it turns out I was right! I'm learing from you guys everyday, thanks so much!
