Norse Medals, Thick or Thin Silver???

I never bought these types of medals before, but I wanted to collect some different historical medals, so I have bought several Norse medals, but I only saw "Thick" Silver. I was told it is very hard to find the "Thin" Silver and they're very expensive if you were to find them?

Is there any truth to that? I am looking for some direction or perhaps opinions.

I had a beat up pocket piece norse medal one time. I love the design! Idk about hard to find but they will for sure cost you a bit more

 

I believe you are correct. Nice looking medals. I want one but the price has kept me away.

 

Yes the Thin Norse is of a smaller mintage of like 1K pieces. Where the Thick is higher.
They are neat and there is 5 gold ones I believe also.

I have three of these and they are all thick. From an unscientific experience-based survey, I would say I see ten thick for every thin.

I do like the different design. They almost look like something you find when you're a kid at a Disney souvenir shop. hahaha.
