I have a 2013 Fort McHenry quarter with a reverse but no obverse. It is the exact diameter of a normal quarter, but just a hair thinner. It does have its reeded edge. I have no scale to weigh it. It lays flat with the reverse side down. It doesn't lay flat with the obverse side down because the center is slightly raised on the obverse. The reverse seems normal. The obverse appears silver toward the center and cooper colored around the perimeter. Please see my pictures. I suspect that it's been altered and its not a mint error. Any thoughts?
someone ground off the Washington side. looks like a dremel ground it off. maybe they used it as a button ?
Yes.. It is PMD - Post Mint Damage When you see the clad layer worn away and the copper core showing.. It's not a Mint Error
