Ebay no longer offers the 50 free buy it now listings a month, but increased the number of auction style free listings to 100. What do you think?

Never sold, but I imagine people will set the opening bid closer to what they expect or hope to get for the auction.

    I didn't vote because I never sold.

  4. Auctions starting at .99 are way down from prior years. I think they are trying to recreate the past. TC

Ive noticed alot of auctions with starting bids set at the $20s-$50s & no one is bidding. But some are set at prices I think are fair and due to that, I have won them at opening bid & I consider it a good deal when compared to past sales of an item or other retail avenues.

I think it's great. They've made some changes recently that actually help me sell coins. You can have 100 free auction style and still ad buy it now if you want that option. Plus now they automatically relist three times in a row without charging you, so that helps a lot.

To be honest, for what I sell all of these things are gimmicks. Who cares if you save 25 cents when listing, they end up screwing you on the final value fee. My auctions average over $300, so that's where they get me.
