No date quarter - 1916 or 1917? (no stars on reverse)

    Wanted some opinions on which date you think this is. The normal indicators that I know of for a no date are hard for me to make out. Hoping someone has seen enough of these to help...

    I am probably the least knowledgeable person when it comes to SLQ's, but a quick search and read tells me that the biggest difference is that in 1917 Liberty's bare breast was covered by a chain mail shirt. Looking at your coin, it looks like I can see that shirt. So.....

    Your coin is without a doubt a 1917 Type 1. The strength of the depressions in the walls and the rivets at the top of the shield along with the shape of the curved draping of the skirt next to Liberty's foot are all clear indicators for this being a 1917.
