Had my coin club last night, couldn't find any new ancient's, but i did find a couple World coins.. These coin's kind of jumped out to me, love Gold... Japanese 1837- 54... Samurai silver bar.. 16mm x 23mm 8.59g. Japanese..1868-69.. Samurai Bar..Tempo era Gold and silver 12mm x 23mm x 2.99g. .223 Gold.. .777 Silver
Those little gold bars have always appealed to me, but knowing nothing of them, I've been afraid to pull the trigger for fear of getting fakes.
You know its funny Mr. Eng, if I were to go home with world coins I would certainly want Samurai money. I have yet to get any but I am totally interested. and from the genius that is Chrsmat....

vlaha => yah, I was born and raised for 28 years on Vancouver Island, before I ventured-out and started my mining career in Northern Manitoba ... => however, good ol' Pa still lives in the house that he built sixty years ago ... he's blind as a bat, 90 years old, but still rattling around by himself ... luckily, with 110% of his wits still intact!! => yup, the ol' dude is absolute money!! (best Dad "ever"!!)
