FWIW, that appears to be the most accurately graded coin (and I use that term loosely here) I have ever seen graded by NNC.

They also accurately deduced it was a copy. I'll give 'em give high marks for that.

The gobrecht dollar is one of my favorite coins.
I guess I have a thing for expensive coins lol.

 

Personally, I think grading companies should grade, identify, and slab to the best of their ability anything they are paid to slab regardless of whether it is cleaned, damaged, a copy, a token, or a counterfeit. Just put it on the label.
