Nine down and three to go

I just received this 1923 Lincoln, it has not been easy to find all 12 samples.
Just three more to track down and I will have a very cool short set.

Nice sample, and I think he's talking about the wheat cent samples from PCGS

 

Well I would like to make a short set of all 12 coins in the set 1917-1929.
I know they are sample slabs but why not.

Hey acan451 can you clarify for me. I'm sure they made wheats for longer than 12 coins. Are these a specific sample set to PCGS that only has 12? I'm not a penny guy but my curiosity is high lol.

Yes they are just that, a specific sample set from PCGS.

Copper collectors should note the color and wear/toning pattern of that coin.
