So I am wondering what people think, are NIFC half dollars worth keeping or are they not worth more than the 50 cent face value? I have quite a few of them and I am not sure what to do with them. Thanks!

I'm glad someone asked that question. I was wondering the same thing myself.

Not intended for circulation, for halves, from 2002 to present, and proofs

Any modern coin with mintage that low is probably a keeper.

Of course, that's sort of relative. Any circulation modern coin with mintage that low is a keeper in higher grade.
But these are all (well, mostly) BU coins. Very few get thrown into circulation.

With that said, I keep them. Once I get 30 or 40 bucks worth, I start deciding what to do with them. Usually I'm happy if I can make 5 or 10 cents each on them.
