    First new member question:
I’m currently searching rolls of nickels. On more than on occasion I’ve come across a coin that appears to have a golden finish. Is this something of an oddity that I should set aside?

No. Could be natural toning. Not worth anything.
If it's REALLY gold, it could be plated, which is worth, nothing.
    Happy hunting.

No. What your photo shows are 3 normal nickels. Just toning is causing the colors you are seeing.

    Thanks Michael & CN
Appreciate both of your responses. I was thinking the blanks used had a different tone since it’s so uniform.
