Found 2 nickels while roll hunting. Wasn't sure if they were finds or just damage. The first was a 1954 s. Wasn't sure if it was an rps. The second was a 2017 with odd marks bellow the monticello building. Thank you.
That "S" took a little slide in the striking of the coin, and that's not a die error. The good news is, that looks like a die clash under the building, and that is a die error, and a nice, heads-up, find, so congrats. To an error collector, it's worth change over face value; that is to say, nothing outrageous, then again more than the price of a stamp, let's just call it.
