Very nice but AU-58 is probably the grade.

She is a beaut…. Keep in mind that most 64’s were tucked away because that was the last year of silver coins. Folks tend to tuck away their coins in a transitional year. That’s why you see way more mints state 64 JFK halves than circulated 64’s.

Granted, the toning is very attractive but there are many areas on both sides exhibiting circulation wear: the central hair curl, the weak-ish IN/IGWT and the speckly surface on the obverse, and feather definition on the Eagle’s breast on the reverse. I also use the tops of the legs and talons as PUPs to check as well. Because of the wear, AU would be correct, but I dare say it could go AU58+.

All in all a very nice, attractive George…imo…Spark

Nice toning. Definitely circulated. I would say AU 55.
