Just thought I'd share my latest pickup... A raw 1900 liberty head $2.5 gold piece. What attracted me to it was its really strong strike and unusual color. It has red-ish orange and white spotting with a hazy look. But underneath that haze is strong, even, mint luster. Seems to be super original to me, I dont have any other gold coins that have a look similar to this. It does have a few contact marks but that doesn't distract much on this unique, sweet looking coin! I hate that I just sent off a submission to pcgs before before discovering this beauty!
