I was going through some junk silver Washington Quarters at work today, finding a few 1930s date coins that were worthy of putting up on our webstore.

I glanced at a F/VF 1934 and noticed something....it was a doubled die obverse. The doubling was so easy to see at even an arm's length. It was a pretty cool to find that in some junk silver that would have been sold either for melt for for less than $5.

Wow, sweet find man! Very nice! A lot of things to still be found out there, and not only in circulation! Would you be able to post pics at all?

Good find. I think there are probably many treasures hidden in those bags of junk silver coins. It just takes the patience and knowledge to ferret them out.

What's sad is, how many of these treasures have already been melted down??

Wow, great find, hard to believe, something so obvious circulated for that long without getting put in someones junk drawer, dresser, etc. just for being wierd or different.

    Right on !!
