Nice British coin from 1844

    I was looking into an British lot, when I found an 1844 half-farthing. Now that is something that you don't see everyday.

    Funny you should mention that, because I bought one last night at the coin club. The queen Victoria half farts were minted for use in ceylon

    Yeah, but they became legal tender in the U. K. in 1842.
