Nice 1916 Buffalo with great die clash

I’m a big fan of die clashes. Not sure why necessarily but clashes and die cracks always interest me.

Earlier this evening I picked up a nice 1916 Buffalo in an ICG AU-58 holder. On the reverse it had the common chin clash under ‘pluribus’. However on the obverse it also has the less common (in my experience) ‘pluribus’ die clash under the chin.

I was happy with the coin at $20. With the clashes I’m thrilled at $20.

Quick note, the slab is scuffed a bit and it shows in the pics.

    Thanks for looking.
