Yesterday NGC announced a reorganization of its tokens and medals department. The upshot of this is a new roster of tokens and medals that are eligible for NGC grading. My quick side-by-side review of the old and new rosters turned up only one World category that is going away-"Jetons, as listed in Gaudoury & Mitchner references."However, there were quite a few US categories that disappeared. According to NGC, tokens or medals that have been submitted but are no longer on the eligible tokens and medals roster will be returned ungraded along with the submitter's fees.
