Jump 3 grades.

The other 67’s were all small anacs 65’s. 2 grade jumps.

The 1880S Morgan was originally a small anacs 66. Point and +/* increase

The 1881-O was a small anacs 64. Half grade increase. It’s now a top pop for the VAM.

67+ mercury was originally a 67 NGC fatty. Now it’s the only 67+ and only one higher at a 68 for the variety.

17D cent was bought raw on eBay for $41

    Hi Pie,
Beautiful coins and congrats. Do you think these would grade out equivalently if sent to PCGS?
I use both grading services myself.

Seems like one lesson here is to buy ANACS coins and resubmit to NGC.

Nice coins, leave those beauties alone. Thanks for sharing your good fortune.

There’s a certain look the buffaloes which I think I’d be able to spot easily now. It’s tough trying to base how to spot it just off photos alone though.

    Wrong lesson.

The correct lesson would be to resubmit coins which were slabbed/graded before the TPGs all loosened their grading standards.

But since that's been going on for almost 20 years now, unless collectors have owned those examples for that long, there's not a whole lot of them left out there.

Thats what these were. My father originally subbed them and they’ve been locked up since. These never had the opportunity to be passed around to multiple buyers or they would have been cracked years ago.

I'll pick my own lesson, thanks.
