Nice submission!!! I love that 1967 UCAM Kennedy and the 1941-S Large S Jefferson Nickel. :)

What's amazing is that I am just over the limit to be able to post this entire submission in the "Post your under $50 purchases" thread...

Definitely keeping the top two, as I've not come across a modern commemorative dollar with such a nice rainbow, and of course, I collect Jefferson Nickels, so keeping that Large S/S.

The others will help me replace my car (can't say much except yet again someone rear ends me while I'm completely stopped.)

Well I'll just come on out and say it. YOU SUCK!! :)

Sorry to hear about your car. I bought a 2014 Ford Flex back in December, then in January a rock hit the windshield and cracked it. On Valentines Day, I replaced the windshield, then on Friday a tiny little rock hit the new windshield and now there is a large chip with cracks starting, right in the middle of the new freakin' windshield. I was so upset that the radio censors were playing bleeps on the radio to cover up my language... Now I get to pay for yet another windshield. It's only a $100.00 deductible, but that's still $100.00 out of my pocket.

Yes. I loved this car (would have run for another 150-200k with regular maintenance) so...I'm "less than happy about the situation."

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

It's unusual to see modern commems with toning like that. Any idea how it's been stored for the last 25 years?

Well, I purchased it at a show around the same time I sold my 1901 DDR Morgan... Bought it in a group of 4 or 5 sets, I think the guy said they'd been stored in a safe? Anyway, none of the other sets had the same toning (can you imagine?) and as such this is the one I decided to keep. Glad I took photos of the coin in the packaging, too...just in case NGC called it AT.

That happened to my wife and I. We were stopped at the red light and WHAM! This guy hits us in the rear. I asked him for his insurance and he hands me his grandkids school lunch menu. Drunk.

You always have a good eye for coins. This batch is no different. Really nice.

Thank you for the kind words!

Oddly enough, it was my first car accident (another example of being smacked from behind while stopped, only much worse) that made me decide to put a lot of effort into coins and numismatic knowledge (as well as photography) - I knew I’d need something to do on the side in case my body never recovered from the accident.

Perty coins, I like that large S.

On the side note I got rear ended, in a ritzy suburb of Denver a couple weeks ago. Luckily I keep the extended ball hitch on my truck and locked in. I'd like to think that that woman that hit me in her 100 thou plus Mercedes, doesn't text and drive any more. Didn't leave a mark on my truck but put a hole through her grill and damaged the intercooler. We both asked if each other was OK, then went on our way. She pulled up next to me a couple lights away, and guess what she was texting again.
