NGC? PCGS? For errors.

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by peachymargarita, Oct 2, 2006.

  1. So, does anyone have preference of a tpg for errors? I have several coins that I want to grade and sell. I'm wondering does one have a better reputation for errors over the other? Does it even matter? Would one bring more of a return over the other? Do I ask too many questions for one thread?:D
Actually, one of the coins I want to grade is the Wisconsin low leaf. My understanding is that PCGS is the only tpg that grades this coin. Is this right?

    Thanks,

    Michael

I prefer NGC for errors but I'd go with PCGS anytime. And it does matter because as they say the more respectable and trusted the service, the more marketable and easier to sell the coin.

Absolutely not true. If it were me - NGC. By the way, in most cases NGC slabbed examples are bringing higher prices than PCGS examples.
