I submitted two ancient coins to NGC/NCS for conservation services only, no slabbing. Does anyone know what "Grading/Quality Control" means? Does that mean they accepted the coins for conservation services and are working on them? Their descriptions don't clearly identify what "Grading/Quality Control" means.
I believe it means your coins are going from that second category on the list (grading- or in this case, conservation), to the last (quality control- their final check). Meaning your no-doubt long wait is about to get shorter. I don't usually see the "quality control" notice until just before they say "shipped". So it's good news.
