    Ngc...............................

.that would depend entirerly on how the graders graded the coins. a 70 coin is supposed to be blemish free and "perfect" in every way. usually not too many grade as perfect according to the guide lines. they are usually at least a 67 and many 68's and 69's as a rule of averages. and don't forget that grading is subjective. i wouldn't bank on getting very many 70's with out some luck. jmo.

There's a good chance that none of them would. Some dealers submit monster boxes of them and pay a fortune in grading fees to get a handful of 70s.

If it was that profitable, everybody would be doing it and 70s would be a lot cheaper.

NGC used to have their population reports available for free. If I remember right, the ratio of 69s to 70s seemed to be around 50/50 to 60/40 by population. But I'm sure a lot of those 69s were hand picked for having a shot at a 70 before being submitted. I doubt you could expect 50% of a roll or box to grade as 70s.

Maybe somebody that's done it can give you a better answer here.

You just never know. You might get 2. But I think I'd rather take my chances on sending singles in that I thought would qualify. Being dropped into the tube and rattling around against each other in shipping doesn't help your chances.

You should be able to go through the roll yourself and rule out several as having no chance and save yourself the $$. I wouldn't send in a whole roll without first looking at them unless I just wanted them all slabbed, regardless of grade.

MS70 fever is alive and well. How many people can tell the difference between a 69 and 70? Do you really think a 70 is worth the premium?

No. The difference is miniscule...if there actually is a difference.
Certainly not enough to warrant the premiums that they bring.
TPG market driven BS - that's what the MS70 hype is. And it doesn't do much for the overall well being of the hobby, IMHO.:rolling:

I don't really believe in MS70 as a grade, but I would think that a few would come out with that grade. Don't get your hopes up.
