Good morning everyone, Would like to get your thouhts on this on Last week NGC graded a error coin for me wich is this coin http://palmasoncollection.com/index_error_1_5.html It´s a off metal error but small planchet as well Now NGC graded this coin as a small planchet not off metal. Shouldnt the coin have been graded as off metal ? Siggi
I can't say since I am not familiar with your coinage, but this is why I mentioned before that when it comes to errors (and varieties) you MUST be as explicit as possible on the description line of the submission form. Don't leave anything to chance. If you did that, and you feel that NGC made a mistake, I'd suggest that you send Scott Schechter a PM (I know you're a member of the forums.) and explain the situation. Scott has always been good about taking care of things like this, and he will probably ask you to send it directly to his attention. Chris
