NGC Graded so bad?

    It ain't pretty, but then again most MS61s aren't. I'm not familiar with this series, but nothing about it screams xf or even au to me. Take a look at some of these coins PCGS graded 62 and you'll see what I mean.

    A grade of MS 61 seems to be adequate.

    Its a great strike to start with. Sure its beat up, but not from circulation. MS-60 in my opine.

    I'd say 55. But with today's standards it's not uncommon to see these graded as such.

    I might have mistaken a weak strike for wear on the coin. But yet I do see a lot of scratches or marks on the field of the coin, thats why I felt it was a over graded coin.

    At first glance I would have said AU58. The hair doesn't seem right but as stated it could be a weak strike. Lots of marks too.
