I'm just curious about an NGC error slab I encountered today.
It was a 1902-O Morgan dollar MS-63, but it was not noted as an "O" on the slab.
Is there any premium for an error like this ?
Just FYI, it went for $40.

I don't believe there is any premium. One of the cardinal rules "buy the coin, not the holder" applies here.

I don't know 'what' the premium would be but people always seem drawn to errors, esp top tiers making them .... You could always ebay it w/a reserve and see what happens :)

I let a friend of mine get it.
He intended on throwing it up on Ebay, just for giggles.
    :D

I just remembered someone talking a while back about a certain guy paying for error slabs.
I believe the conversation was about an error Sample slab.

The slanted O is a trait of a VAM and not an error.

The slab has an error, not the coin.

That error slab was mine, and (hopefully) here is the picture.

    An 1880S Proof Roosevelt dime.
