Ngc 66??

    Do you think this has a shot at NGC giving it a 66? It is in a PCI 67 slab at the moment.

    BTW - The spot above the right wheat is on the slab, not on the coin.

    I'd say a shot, yeah. I have 66's both sides of that

    What about the spots in front of Lincoln?

    It might on a good day, but I'd say more likely a 65. A little too much light chatter for a 66 IMO.

    Wow, that's a pretty sweet cent RLM, nice color, shame about the spots. I think it might have a good chance at getting a 66, might hit a 65 though. Depends. Best of luck, and let us know the results when you get it back. :thumb:

    Probably 66, although it has a few to many bagmarks to make it certain.

    So , now here's a question. Would you send it to NGC in the slab or break it out ? .... and , if you send it in the slab do you specify a minimum grade or take whatever grade they give ?

    I'd say odds are great it will come back as 66RD from NGC, IMO, the sharpness of strike weighs over the marks.......
