Next NGC Submission - What would you grade these 4 coins as?

Here are four of the batch of coins that I plan on submitting to NGC. I think I'm ok with grading based on previous submissions, but I'm concerned about the last one. What do you think they'll grade as? My grade opinion is in the spoilers.

    Thanks in advance!

    1911 Greece 2 Drachmai
AU-55/AU-58; I've noticed that this type generally has a very weakly struck reverse

    1907 Straits Settlement Dollar

AU-53/55; my photos make this one look like it's been cleaned and maybe there has been some light cleaning in the past

And, just as a grade comparison, here's an NGC graded example:
This one looks similarly "cleaned" with the rim area's fields discolored and with surface hairlines, yet it received a straight grade. The no mint mark one like mine generally has a weaker strike or lower profile bust device relative to the H mint mark one.[IMG]

    I avoid grading non-US coins.
Unless ANA grading standards are used (and I assume NGC would) the coins will be graded higher than the rest of the world.
Observation shows me that grades given by non-US authorities are anywhere from ½ to 1 grade lower than US standards.

Different countries use different grading scales, so it's not necessarily comparable in that way. NGC is as respected as you can get for world grading.

I seriously doubt there's a robust numismatic community in Ethiopia that has it's own grading scale. But ANA grading standards aren't used by anyone but the ANA at this point

OK, here are the grades assigned by NGC, in the order presented:

    1. XF-Details - Cleaned

    2. AU-Details - Cleaned

    3. XF-45

    4. AU-Details - Cleaned

From the Ed Wood school of grading: I agree with the spoiler in #6 post.

I'm ok with the results overall, though I wish that #2 was better.

Are they valuable? Even in details holders? I know nothing about them...

Well, what I thought they should grade as vs. what NGC graded them as resulted in a value difference of at least several hundred dollars each for the first three lol. If I were to sell them, I think that mine will still sell in Details holders for the Ethiopian ones, given how most of those are in very worn or damaged condition.

Oh and I didn't pay anywhere near those figures though!

I think they were well within sub-$100 each purchased raw.

I saved so much compared to buying them slabbed.
